Colourful Beginning to MGU Art Fest

IDUKKI: For the first time, Thodupuzha will host the festival of talents for the next four days. Actor Fahadh Faasil inaugurated ‘Saparya,’ the MG University Art Fest, by lighting up the lamp in the presence of hundreds of students at Al Azhar College here on Thursday.

Following the inauguration, crew of the movie ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram,’ including director Dileesh Pothan, producer Ashiq Abu and music director Biji Bal, interacted with students. Actor Jaffer Idukki and MG University Vice-Chancellor Babu Sebastian also spoke. University union chairman Anandu Unni presided over the function. Three competitions - Thiruvathira, Mime and Bharatanatyam for boys - were held at Kalabhavan Mani Nagar, ONV Nagar and Mrinalini Sarabhai Nagar.
