KANNUR: A person arrested by an Excise Inspector for carrying ganja collapsed and died in Naduvilal. The deceased was identified as Muthaleeb. According to an officer of the Alakode Excise Range Office, the incident occurred around 7 pm. “Officers were on patrol after receiving information about ganja trafficking. They arrested Muthaleeb at Naduvilal. Soon he fainted and fell, and was rushed to a nearby government hospital at Oduvally. He died at the hospital,” said the officer.
