KANNUR: The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) has introduced a toll free number and mobile application for students and parents who want to register complaints against discrepancies in the judgements in state school arts festival.
According to the Vigilance Department, anyone can register their complaints by dialling up toll free numbers 8592900900 and 04972707778. Complaints can also be registered using the mobile application ‘Arising Kerala and Whistle Now’. “People can download the app by registering their name, phone number and email ID. The complainants can send the detailed information, photos and videos through the app,” said VACB DySP A V Pradeep.
“Besides, additional forces and officials from Research and Training Wing have been deployed at the festival venues to monitor the judges and people along with them. The team has already started the work,”he added.
