THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The LDF government is presenting its progress report for public debate. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will release the progress report on his government’s performance by handing over a copy to film director Renjith at the valedictory of the first anniversary celebrations in Kozhikode on Monday.  The report contains a review of the 35-point programme presented by the LDF in its election manifesto.

The LDF had promised that, if it came to power, the performance of the government would be reviewed annually and the report would be put up for public debate. The subsequent activities of the government would be planned on the basis of such discussions, the LDF had said.

The first of the progress reports come with a preface by the Chief Minister that the LDF has kept its promise in this regard. The review, according to the government, is presented in such a manner so as to enable fact-based assessment by development experts and the public.

The report will be published online for social audit. The report will also be updated on a regular basis.
