Chief Minister submits charter of demands to Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan submitted a slew of development proposals to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter’s visit to the city to inaugurate the Kochi Metro Rail on Saturday.

KOCHI: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan submitted a slew of development proposals to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter’s visit to the city to inaugurate the Kochi Metro Rail on Saturday. A memorandum containing 19 proposals were taken up with the Prime Minister at a meeting attended by the Cabinet members led by the Chief Minister.

“The PM responded positively towards Kerala’s demands. He also assured the Chief Minister the demands of the council of ministers will be considered. Modi also appreciated Kerala’s efforts on the development front and social sectors,” the Chief Minister’s Office stated.
