THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Giving an impetus to the People’s planning activities, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and other ministers will attend the first grama sabha and ward sabha meetings to discuss development activities under the 13th Plan.
The meetings, scheduled to be held from April 2 to 9, will launch the second phase of the People’s Planning.
Also, it will kickstart the ground level activities of the state government’s prestigious missions - Haritha Keralam, Ardram, Life and Public Education Protection Mission.
The grama sabha and ward sabha meetings, convened to discuss the first five-year plan of the Left government, will discuss the project priorities set by various local bodies along with different development initiatives announced by the government.
Apart from the ministers, MLAs, MPs and top bureaucrats including the chief secretary will attend these grama sabha/ ward sabha meetings.
