PALAKKAD: A total of 48 bullets were found in a cardboard box recovered from the side of the Vallangi bypass road near Nenmara by the local people, who took them to the police station on Friday. The police said as the bullets were found on the Nenmara-Nelliampathy road they might have been accidentally dropped by poachers or estate owners. The bullets can be used only in old model 3.11 German rifles.
