“We will organise a series of programmes including public discourses and exhibitions against the communal activities in the state,” he said. The CPM is open to accepting support from like-minded organisations and persons who are ready to fight against the fascist policies of the BJP and the RSS, said Kodiyeri. “In Delhi, the BJP is trying to disrupt the democratic functioning of the CPM central committee office. We will continue our fight against the fascist activities of the RSS and the BJP,” he said.

Referring to BJP’s Jana Raksha Yatra, Kodiyeri said the BJP and the RSS will be able to know what Kerala is once their march gets over. “The people of Kerala have a Leftist orientation and the BJP will understand it after the march,” he said.On reports about the Centre’s plan to ban the Popular Front of India (PFI), he said banning an organisation was not a practical solution and the CPM does not support it. “We should counter the activities of the organisation through ideological means and win them over,” he said.
