Coast Guard rescues 3 fishermen

 Three fishermen, among six, who were reported missing after their boat capsized near Beypore coast on Thursday were rescued by the Coast Guard.

KOZHIKODE: Three fishermen, among six, who were reported missing after their boat capsized near Beypore coast on Thursday were rescued by the Coast Guard. According to the coastal police, a Munambam-based boat, ‘Emmanuel’, capsized within 50 nautical miles off the Beypore coast around 2 pm.“Two fishermen were rescued by the fishermen of another boat, ‘Govind’, from Puthiyappa. One was rescued by us,” said an officer. The officer added that those who had gone in search of the missing fishermen were on their way back. “The search  will resume on Friday morning,” he said.
