ALAPPUZHA: Municipal chairman Thomas Joseph on Saturday said a special meeting of the council will be convened to discuss the action to be initiated against the municipality secretary who had disbursed the salaries of striking employees protesting against the suspension of four fellow staffers over their alleged involvement in the disappearance of crucial files pertaining to Minister Thomas Chandy's Lake Palace Resort here.
