KOCHI: Judiciary should function in such a way it does not hinder the rights of other constitutional institutions, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. He was speaking at the valedictory function of the diamond jubilee celebration of the Kerala High Court here on Saturday.“Judiciary, executive and legislature are the three pillars of society. The rights vested with each constitutional institution have been clearly defined. The Constitution envisages an equilibrium of these three institutions and one transgressing the other’s rights will adversely affect this,” Pinarayi said.

“The Constitution envisages a cooperative federal system where all the states move together under a Central leadership. The Central Government should consider the religious, caste and linguistic diversities while implementing the policies,” he said. A postal cover issued to commemorate the jubilee was released by the President at the function.
