Muslim Students Federation national joint secretary suspended

MSF national joint secretary N A Kareem was suspended by IUML leadership over a Facebook post demanding representation for youngsters in Vengara bypoll and criticising the party’s  leaders.

MALAPPURAM: Muslim Students Federation (MSF) national joint secretary N A Kareem was suspended by IUML leadership on Friday over a Facebook post demanding representation for youngsters in Vengara bypoll and criticising the party’s  leaders.A release issued by IUML state committee said Kareem was suspended from all posts for publishing notes which do not comply with the party’s system.


The Facebook post had criticised IUML state general secretary K P A Majeed and Malappuram district general secretary K N A Khader, who are expected to be fielded by the party in Vengara, where byelection will be held on October 11. The FB post, which was later removed, lashed out at the two leaders and added he, along with the party workers, don’t wish the duo’s candidature in Vengara constituency. The post further demanded steps to ensure the representation of youngsters in the constituency.
