KASARGOD: Five years ago, Fynext Technologies’ Abhilash Sathyan, who graduated from Amal Jyothi College of Engineering in Kottayam, said his team of three engineers is working on a multi-layered security camera that would analyse behaviour of the subject and send in alerts.“What we have now is motion sensing and face recognition. Our prototype will be ready by six months,” he said.Husband and wife Nithin K and Shyama M S, both naturopathy doctors, quit their jobs at National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune, to start Healing Hub.

The couple from Cheruvathur is planning to reduce the intervention of doctors and nurses by designing devices that would conduct the basic health test, analyse the data and send them to the doctor’s computer.
“It can either be like an ATM kiosk, where patients can walk in for a ‘do it yourself’ test or special devices attached to health-monitoring instrument that will do the work,” said Nithin. Only data which show anomaly will be send to the doctor, he said. “The products will reduce errors while manually entering data, and help in taking healthcare to rural areas,” he said.
