Amit Shah calls for a ‘Communist-free’ Kerala

He said the murders conducted by the Communists were not ideological but cruelty sponsored by the government and the Chief Minister has to answer for that.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP president Amit Shah said that Communists should be totally uprooted from the state just like Tripura, then only the BJP workers’ sacrifice will fructify. He was speaking to party leaders in charge of booths under the six parliament seats in southern districts.

He said the murders conducted by the Communists were not ideological but cruelty sponsored by the government and the Chief Minister has to answer for that. BJP has responded to the cruelties in Kerala and Delhi through democratic means.

BJP believes not in violence but in development, Shah said, adding the Modi government is giving all support to the Kerala government for development only. However, owing to political reasons this support are not properly utilised, he said.

AIIMS and Kanjikode rail factory which were sanctioned much earlier have not become a reality owing to the failures of the state governments which ruled the state.

He said the highway development is also getting delayed owing to the same reason. He said the UPA Government has conducted a massive scam of `12 lakh crore and after four years of BJP in power there is no single episode of corruption, said the leader.
