THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Condemning the attack on Swami Sandeepanandagiri's Ashram, Chief Mister Pinarayi Vijayan alleged that the attack was on Sandeepananda Giri's life. Speaking to media after visiting the ashram on Saturday morning, Pinarayi warned that strict action will be taken against the culprits.

"Dissents and differences of opinion should be dealt through ideological debates, not with physical violence. The government will not allow anyone to take law into hands. There will be strict action against the culprits. Swami Sandeepananda Giri has been campaigning for secular values. He's also a strong critic of spirituality being misused for political interests. Those who are intolerant with his actions unleashed the attack on his ashram," said Pinarayi Vijayan.
