ASKA: Miscreants hurled bombs and fired two rounds before snatching Rs 6 lakh from a businessman Krishna Reddy near Gobara bus stand within Gangpur police limits on Wednesday noon.
Sources said six armed miscreants barged into a cement store in the area and fired two rounds of bullets in the air. They then hurled three bombs and snatched away Rs 12 lakh from a businessman present in the store at about 4 pm. The businessman had come to Gobara to collect money from the store owner. Police were informed and subsequently, two persons were nabbed. Further investigation is underway.
Three Injured: Three persons were injured in a road mishap at Nuagaon within Aska police limits on Tuesday. The injured have been identified as Kailash Barik, Gopal Parida and Hrusikesh Parida. They were admitted to Aska Hospital. A case has been registered.
