KEONJHAR: The body seized by Keonjhar Police following an encounter with Maoists in a forest near Mundatopa village under Kanjipani police limits on Wednesday, has been identified as that of Amin Lohar of Baragoda village under Harichandanpur police limits.
The deceased wife, Mamata Lohar and sister Minati Lohar identified the body at Keonjhar cremation ground in the presence of senior police officers and a magistrate.
Native of Kusumdiha village in Jajpur district, the family was staying in a rented accommodation at Baragoda village for the last two years.
Amin had reportedly left for Sundargarh on Monday last.
