Under the banner of Bishnupriya Arts and Graphics which is Anubhav Mohanty’s home production, Odia film ACP Ranbir will be releasing in theatres during Dussehra. Playing the lead in the movie are Anubhav Mohanty and Barsha Priyadarshini. After the success of three consecutive Movies - Balunga Toka, Something Something, and Matric Fail, this venture is being directed by Sudhakar Basant with almost the same group that had worked in Something Something. Stated to be an action packed romantic movie, Anubhav will be seen with six pack abs for which the actor is working hard. The rest of the star cast has not been finalised.

Jay Jagannath

The mega mythological serial, written and directed by Gopal Krishna Yogesh and  produced by Devendra Nath Panda will soon be airing on Sahara One every Saturday,  between 6 pm and 7 pm. With music by Ravindra Jain, the production is supported by president of Nrutyangana, Artatran Mohanty. This is for the first time that a mega Hindi serial “Jay Jagannath”, based on Lord Jagannath and the tales and culture of Odisha will be telecast on Sahara. Yogesh said, ‘‘I had only heard about the charisma of Lord Jagannath. But for the first time I experienced certain unbelievable things which I can never forget.’’ This serial stars Mukesh Khanna, Surendra Paul, Birbal, Manmouzi and yesteryear Odia actress Jaya swami.

Hajila Samparka Paaichi Pheri

Actor Asit Pati who has entertained the masses in the past in his portrayal of negative characters in Odia movies is directing his first movie Hajila Samparka Paichi Pheri. The film is being produced by Jagath Ranjan Mahakudu under Sai Vinayak Entertainment banner. Besides directing the movie, Pati will also be seen playing a negative role. The movie, which is being shot at different locales in Bhubaneswar and Balasore, is expected to release during Raja.
