BHUBANESWAR: A week-long education fair “Edufest-12” will kick off from April 27 aiming to bring together all the streams of education under one roof.
The aim of Edufest is to provide one-time solution to all queries at one place __ from career counselling to counselling regarding higher education.
With the university and school examinations coming to an end, a student might need a little guidance on pursuing a course or taking up a job. That’s where the fair aims to help them.
The education fair will see stalls for the students from pre-nursery to the Ph.D. level. A central AC pavilion will be created where top engineering and management universities will set up their stalls and brief the students on career-oriented course.
“We are trying to specifically meet needs of the young students. We have invited eminent career counsellors from across the country to answer the queries of the students,” said one of the organisers.
Around 40 engineering institutes will set up stalls on April 30 and May 1. Similarly, 40 management colleges will be setting up stalls at the pavilion on May 2 and May 3 at Exhibition Ground.
Numerous coaching centres and plus-2 colleges will also set up their stalls to educate the students on future education opportunities, Edufest adviser Soubhagya Patnaik said. Edufest is being organised by Puja Educational Trust.
