BERHAMPUR/ASKA: Stray dogs attacked a black buck and bit into its front leg near Karatali village under Aska block, on Saturday.

The locals spotted the injured animal and rescued it from the dogs. They later informed the forest officials.

The veterinary surgeons amputated a leg of the three-year-old black buck and bandaged the other injured leg at the forest office.

In the last five months, while 10 black bucks have died in road accidents, five have been attacked and injured by animals.
