SALEPUR: The couple, Pravat Swain and Nirmala Swain happily campaigned for each other for the panchayat polls.
While Pravat is contesting the Sarpanch post, Nirmala is in the fray for Samiti Member post in Sukerpada gram panchayat under Nischintakoili block.
Both graduates, Pravat and Nirmala are contesting the polls with a unique thought. “Generally, development works suffer due to difference of opinion between the Sarpanch and Panchayat Samiti Member. In our case, there is little chance of conflict as we share a better understanding,” said Pravat.
Their banners, posters, pushing cards and leaflets include profiles of both the candidates for convenience of the voters.
