CUTTACK: As thousands have thronged the famous Shiva Temple at Dhabaleswar to observe the Maha Shivaratri on Monday, the island in the Mahanadi is all set to bring the pilgrims and devotees close to the rich cultural heritage of the State. The island besides hosting the devotees in droves would become a stage for an Odissi dance festival featuring some reputed artistes of the country. The festival will be organised by Delhi-based Chandana Academy in association with the Endowments Department and the district administration. Many eminent dancers from Odisha and outside would take part in the festival, Director of the Academy and Odissi exponent Dr Chandana Raul said.
