DHENKANAL: The talks between the management of Bhusan Steel Limited (BSL) and the company’s labourers at the office of Assistant Labour Commissioner on Saturday floundered yet again.
Similar talks held at the collectorate on Friday had failed. The labourers are seeking their 10-point charter of demands, including ID cards and pay hike among other things.
While the management rejected the demand for ID cards, ALC Dinabandhu Adhikari has scheduled another meeting on March 2 in the presence of BSL Managing Director Niraj Singhal.
Senior Manager of the company A K Sharma, District Labour Officer L N Rath and Bhusan Steel Shramik Sabha general secretary P K Biswal were present.
