Girls Take out Silent March

BHUBANESWAR: Scores of girls, mostly students, staged a silent march here on Thursday to protest the alleged Pipili gangrape case. They demanded resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

BHUBANESWAR: Scores of girls, mostly students, staged a silent march here on Thursday to protest the alleged Pipili gangrape case. They demanded resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The rally also focused on the deteriorating law and order situation in the State. The march started from Rajmahal square and was scheduled to conclude at Naveen Niwas. But they were stopped by the police at Sishu Bhawan Chhak.

They also carried placards which demanded better law enforcement.
