Blast in rice mill boiler

Speculations are rife on the possible involvement of Maoists in the blasting of a boiler in Hanuman rice mill in Laudmal village of Mithapali gram panchayat under the block on Saturday.

As per reports, the boiler of the rice mill exploded on Saturday night, ripping off a part of wall and mangled corrugated sheets and iron channels at the spot. The explosion even sent splinters flying and even fell on a 10-wheeler truck overturning it. Although it is said a labourer was also seriously injured in the explosion, no complaint has yet been lodged with the police.

While the owner of rice mill refused to speak about the incident, police are suspecting involvement of the Maoists.
