A 24-year-old physiotherapist was found hanging in the bathroom of his Unit VI house here on Saturday morning. While police registered an unnatural death case, the circumstance of death were mysterious.
Anam Brahma Das was spotted by his roommate at about 8 am. As Das’ knees were touching the floor of the bathroom it raised suspicion about the actual reason behind the death.
Das was working as a physiotherapist in a clinic in Unit VI area. His roommate Daitari told police that Das was in an irritating mood on Friday night when they went to sleep.
In the morning, when Daitari went to the bathroom, he found Das hanging with a rope.
The bathroom, with asbestos roof, was barely about 8 ft in height. Das’ family members suspect foul play and demanded a thorough investigation. Capital Police are probing.
