Mother reunites with ‘kidnapped’ infant

Four days after her baby was allegedly kidnapped, Saraswati met him at a children shelter home.

It was happy reunion for Saraswati Sahoo on Sunday. Four days after her baby was allegedly kidnapped, Saraswati met him at a children shelter home.

The infant was rescued from Nischintakoili on Saturday. However, Saraswati was untraceable.

The Bhubaneswar Government Railway Police tracked her down at Cuttack railway Station on Sunday.

Saraswati, who has been deserted by her husband, was brought to the shelter home and was ecstatic to meet her baby. She has not been handed over custody of the kid because of official procedures.

The three-month-old baby had allegedly been kidnapped near Bhubaneswar Railway Station.

A brother-sister duo has been detained in this connection.
