Even as PLGA Week concluded without any report of violence or Maoist activity in the areas bordering Balangir, Bargarh and Nuapada, Maoist posters and banners were found in Jamseth, Mandosil and Chindeikela under Paikmal police limits on Sunday.

The posters and banners called upon the people to celebrate the 13th PLGA Week from December 2 to 8 in their villages and urged youths to join the PLGA and drive away police and security forces from their areas.

The posters and banners, which have been issued by the CPI (Maoists), were seized by the CRPF and police even as it created a flutter among the villagers.
