Modi Magic in Air: BJP

Invigorated by the spectacular victory in the Assembly polls in four States, the BJP on Monday claimed that it would capture power at the Centre and come up with a startling result in the State in 2014 general elections.

The results in the four States of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi clearly demonstrated that an anti-Congress wave is sweeping across the country, said BJP’s deputy in-charge for Odisha Arun Singh.

Speaking to reporters here, Singh said the way Congress was decimated in four States proved that people are unhappy over rampant corruption, scams, inflation and poor governance during the UPA rule at the Centre.

Stating that the Modi magic is proving to be highly effective in wooing voters, Singh said the popularity of BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate was rising steadily, bolstering the party’s poll prospects.

On the Naveen Patnaik Government, Singh said the people of the State are fed up with the ruling BJD due to corruption and scams.

Asserting that BJP would perform exceptionally well in the Assembly elections, Singh said the party workers are working round-the-clock. Narendra Modi is likely to visit the State during January-February next year, Singh said.

Party’s State unit president KV Singhdeo exuded confidence that the Modi factor will do wonder for the BJP in the coming Assembly election. The party will come up with a startling result as the people are fed up with the BJD Government.

A meeting organised by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Rashtriya Ekta Trust made an elaborate discussion how to make the proposed ‘run for unity’ on December 15 a grand success.

The meeting was attended by Gujarat Forest and Environment Minister Ganapatsinh Vasava and four party collegues including two MPS and four MLAS. Senior leaders of the State BJP were also present.
