Soumya Calls on Youths to Clean Political System

Chairman of Ama Odisha, a recently formed political outfit, Soumya Ranjan Pattnaik called upon the youths to join the organisation with the missionary zeal to clean the system contaminated with corruption and malfunctioning.

He was addressing the third Sankalpa Samabesh of the outfit at Basudevpur in Bhadrak district on Sunday.

Prior to the meeting, Pattnaik was welcomed by a motorcycle rally that escorted him from Jamujhadi to the meeting venue. While criticising the Naveen Patnaik led BJD Government for spurt in crime against women and lack of sincerity on its part to arrest the trend, he asserted to provide a clean, corruption-free, sensitive and pro-people governance in Odisha if blessed by the people. 

Since all the major political parties in the State have dearth of good people and are beset with numerous vices, he said Ama Odisha aspires to have more honest people having vision to lead Odisha to prosperity. 

Counting the failures of the Naveen Government for price rise, mining scam and neglect farm sector, he called upon the youths join hands with him clean the political system.

“There will not be any ruler-ruled status in the polity of Ama Odisha and popular policies would be framed in accordance with the public choice,” he maintained.

Sparing the Congress leadership, the Ama Odisha Chairman claimed that Ama Odisha will emerge as a viable alternative in the State to the individual centric political parties. 

Among others, former PCC secretary Shakeel Mohammad, Ama Odisha secretary Swaraj Mishra and local functionaries of the outfit also spoke.
