The Department of Higher Education (DHE) will set up 25 district-level cells to monitor the performance of the Government and non-Government colleges.The cell will monitor the infrastructure, management of funds under the University Grants Commission (UGC) and academic status. Twenty-five colleges have been identified in these districts for the purpose.
In every cell, one district-level consultant will be engaged who will have prior experience of monitoring and supervision. The major task of the cell will be to review and collect data about affiliation strength and enrolment and other UGC related schemes.
Candidates with the experience in the capacity of principal or similar position can apply to the position and they will be paid honorarium.
