Paradip Port to export rice

After a long gap, export of rice through Paradip Port has been resumed to mark a new phase of export of agri-product in containers through the Port.

After a long gap, export of rice through Paradip Port has been resumed to mark a new phase of export of agri-product in containers through the Port. Unloading of about 2650 MT of rice brought in 42 wagons from Raipur was started on Monday at the container yard of Paradip Port.

Simultaneously the unloaded rice bags were stuffed into the containers. The rice is being exported to Indonesia by Srilalitha Enterprise Pvt Ltd. Unloading of rice from the wagons and loading into the container is being done under the supervision of Seaways Shipping and Logistics Ltd.

The consignment of rice will be shipped through the vessel MV Meratus Gorontalo within a couple of days.
