RAYAGADA: BJP leader, Shiba Shankar Ulaka, on Tuesday demanded action against Rayagada Collector and SP in connection with the Itishree Pradhan case.
He said if in the Sunita Raita case, action can be taken against the Gajapati Collector, the Rayagada Collector should also be transferred or placed under suspension for his negligence in Itishree’s case.
Itishree, a teacher in Tikiri Project Primary School in Rayagada district, was set afire by unidentified miscreants on October 27, 2013. She succumbed to injuries in a private hospital in Visakhapatnam on November 1. Ulaka alleged that the administration was negligent towards Itishree’s allegations of harassment that she filed against School Inspector Netrananda Dandasena.
