BHUBANESWAR: The Class X students under Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), whose results were announced on Tuesday, can apply for revaluation of marks online. The application is available on its official website.
This year, CBSE introduced on-screen marking solution (OSMS) for online answer sheets evaluation for Class X examinations under Bhubaneswar region.
The OSMS evaluation was done for English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. In case the students are not satisfied with the marks obtained by them, they can apply online mentioning their roll numbers, centre number and school number.
Once the information is fed in the system, the student’s details are automatically generated on website, said CBSE Bhubaneswar region head AS Verma. The student can opt for either normal or urgent (immediate rechecking of answer papers) revaluation of the answer paper. The fee for urgent revaluation is higher than the normal.
Last year, CBSE’s Bhubaneswar region received about 2,500 revaluation requests. Verma said due to implementation of OSMS answer sheet valuation this year, chances of error in the evaluation process are expected to be minimal.
