BALASORE:The district unit of Congress has decided to launch a monthly bulletin to reach out to the rural mass.
Former Union minister Srikanta Jena said booklet named ‘Congress Barta’ will be distributed in every village of the coastal district to make people aware about activities of the Congress. “We will also highlight grievances of people and problems they have been facing due to negligence by Government officials,” he said during the inauguration of new office building of the party. The office building named as ‘Jawahar Bhawan’, was inaugurated by Pradesh Congress Committee president, Prasad Harichandan.
Harichandan said the old Congress office here is a heritage structure as it is the second office, which was being used by freedom fighters during the freedom struggle after Swaraj Ashram in Cuttack.
