State on Alert after Intel on Pak Terror

BHUBANESWAR: The State was put on high alert on Thursday following Intelligence inputs that three Pakistan-based terror operatives have managed to sneak into India.

DGP KB Singh said an alert has been issued to all districts and important establishments such as Bhubaneswar airport and Hirakud Dam have been put under increased security cover.

The Intel input was received from IB. Last Year, an Al Qaeda in Indian Sub-continent agent and five SIMI operatives were arrested in separate incidents from the State.
