ROURKELA: With the water level in river Koel drying up due to rising temperature, the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) management has asked the residents of Captive Township to use water judiciously and avoid misuse and wastage.
The management apprehends severe water crisis in the coming days with the water level in river Koel depleting rapidly. The RSP plans to regulate the supply by resorting to release of water once in a day or on alternate days.
They have requested the residents not to use drinking water for watering plants and washing vehicles and asked them to store water for the next couple of days to meet any exigency.
