BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter’s official residence in New Delhi at 10.30 am on Tuesday.
Though the agenda of the meeting is yet to be known, sources said Naveen will discuss several issues including the demand for special category State (SCS) status to Odisha.
Naveen, who met Modi last time on June 2, 2014 at New Delhi, had demanded SCS status for Odisha and release of funds for several pending projects. The Chief Minister, who had led a delegation of party MPs during his meeting with Modi, demanded enhancement of Central assistance for Odisha.
