Hemananda Hospitalised

SAMBALPUR: Former chief minister Hemananda Biswal was admitted to VSS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) at Burla early on Thursday. He complained of chest pain and headache while he was in his village Thakurpara in Jharsuguda district late on Wednesday.

He was rushed to VIMSAR and has been admitted to the central ICU.

Head of Medicine Department, Kashinath Padhiary, said Biswal is suffering from bronchitis, besides minor cardiac problem.

His condition is stable now.
