CUTTACK: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has so far issued notices to 27 kalyan mandaps running illegally in the City. The CMC has warned of taking action against the owners of these mandaps as per law if they fail to stop organising functions and events. Recently, Orissa High Court had directed to shut down 104 kalyan mandaps operating illegally in and around the City. An Advocate Committee was formed which had inspected and verified the status of all mandaps.
