BHUBANESWAR: In the ongoing investigation into the multi-crore chit fund scam in Odisha, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday arrested director of Swastik India Group Manoranjan Nanda.
Nanda was arrested by the Central agency in connection with the alleged duping of investors by the ponzi firm.
CBI sources said Nanda’s role had been under the lens of the agency for quite some time.
In January this year, the CBI had arrested three other directors of the company including Swastik India’s founder and promoter Ranjan Das.
