SAMBALPUR: Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur, A K Das, convicted Sub-Divisional Officer, Electrical, WESCO, Bhatli in Bargarh district Subodh Kumar Das under the Prevention of Corruption Act on Tuesday.
Pronouncing the judgment, the Judge held Subodh Kumar Das guilty of the offence and sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for two years and pay fine of `5,000, in default of payment of which, the accused will have to undergo an additional one month rigorous imprisonment.
