Two new IndiGo flights for Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: Domestic carrier IndiGo has added 28 new flights to its domestic network for the winter schedule of 2016-17. Odisha will get two new flights on Bhubaneswar-New Delhi and Bhubaneswar-Hyderabad route in the new schedule of IndiGo which was announced on Friday.

The new flight, 6E-669, will fly from Delhi at 9.50 am and reach Bhubaneswar at 12 noon. The Bhubaneswar-Delhi flight, 6E-646, will take off from Bhubaneswar at 4.40 pm and land at the National Capital at 7 pm.


The Bhubaneswar-Hyderabad flight, 6E-631, will take off from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) at 12.30 pm and reach Hyderabad at 2.05 pm. The same aircraft, with the flight code 6E-645, will start at 2.35 pm from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and land at BPIA at 4.10 pm.


The flight will fly non-stop on Delhi-Bhubaneswar-Delhi and Bhubaneswar-Hyderabad-Bhubaneswar routes. The operations on the new routes will commence from November 28.
Speaking about the new routes, president and whole time director of IndiGo Aditya Ghosh said the latest expansion is a part of the company’s objective to connect metro cities with regional destinations.
