Woman admitted to SCB H1N1 ward

One more swine flu patient has been admitted to the special isolation ward at SCB Medical College and Hospital here on Sunday.

CUTTACK:One more swine flu patient has been admitted to the special isolation ward at SCB Medical College and Hospital here on Sunday. The patient, a 48-year-old woman,  was undergoing treatment at KIMS. With this, the number of swine flu patients at SCBMCH has increased to two.

Meanwhile, considering the rise in H1N1 patients, SCBMCH authorities have requested Health and Family Welfare Department to provide 20 more ventilators to tackle the situation.
Meanwhile, even before the Government supplies vaccines, SCB authorities have started vaccination process by procuring the same on an emergency basis locally.

As per reports, all the doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, sweepers and attendants who are directly associated with swine flu treatment at the special isolated ward have been vaccinated at the centre opened at Pulmonary Medicine Department.
