KENDRAPARA: Police have arrested a teacher of Jamapada Girls’ High School in Jamapada under Patkura police limits of Kendrapara district on charges of molesting a 14-year-old schoolgirl on the campus on Monday.
The arrested teacher is Kapil Samantray (45). The girl, a student of Class 6, informed her father about the incident and lodged a police complaint. Samantray was produced in the District and Sessions Judge court at Kendrapara on Tuesday. The court rejected his bail application and remanded him in jail custody.
