SAMBALPUR: Another Associate Professor of VIMSAR was caught doing private practice during office hours on Saturday. Director of VIMSAR Aswini Pujahari, during his routine visit to Orthopaedic Surgery department, found Associate Professor Goutam Kumar Satpathy absent during duty hours. On verification, he found out that Satpathy was at his home attending to patients privately.
Subsequently, Pujahari visited the residence of Satpathy and caught him red-handed. He said a show-cause notice has been issued to Satpathy over his unauthorised absence from the hospital during duty hours. Satpathy has been asked to respond to the show-cause within 48 hours.
On Sunday last, Pujahari had caught Associate Professor of Radio-diagnosis department B B Panda red-handed while he was performing ultrasound at a diagnostics unit in Burla.
