SAMBALPUR: Revocation of suspension order of Jayanarayan Mishra by the BJP has come as a boost to the district unit of the party. On Saturday, State BJP president Basanta Panda revoked the suspension order on former minister Mishra besides former district BJP president, State executive member Nauri Nayak
and nine Zilla Parishad members.
All of them were suspended after attack on State BJP vice-president Samir Mohanty during his visit to Sambalpur on March 12 to oversee poll to the post of ZP president, in which BJP nominees had majority.
Jubilation marked the revocation of suspension among Mishra’s supporters in the party who maintained that his re-entry may change the political situation in the area. Jayanarayan was three-time MLA from Sambalpur.
