Zain Foundation to host ‘The Siddhus’

The Zain Foundation will host popular play ‘The Siddhus of Upper Juhu’ at Rabindra Mandap on Friday as part of its annual fund-raising charity show.

BHUBANESWAR: The Zain Foundation will host popular play ‘The Siddhus of Upper Juhu’ at Rabindra Mandap on Friday as part of its annual fund-raising charity show.Directed by Rahul DaCunha, brain behind the famous Amul Ad campaign, the play stars Theatre stalwarts, Rajit Kapur and Shernaz Patel.

‘The Siddhus of Upper Juhu’ is the new addition to the category that blends comedy and drama. It chronicles the extraordinary adventures of an ordinary couple in the Maximum City. Rajit and Shernaz play the slightly eccentric middle-aged couple who find themselves in a bind when their home is burgled.
The simplicity and elegance of the set and production values of the play are expected to enthral the audience of the Capital City.

Founded in 2015, the Zain Foundation commemorates the birthday of Zain and is engaged in advocacy work for the autism community in Bhubaneswar through workshops, art exhibitions, rallies, as well as awareness through print and audio visuals for the last two years.It had organised the famous play ‘Kaifi Aur Main’ featuring Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar in 2015, followed by the class act of  Naseeruddin Shah as Einstein last year.
