BHUBANESWAR: Vice President Venkaiah Naidu arrived here on a two-day visit to the State on Friday. He was greeted by Governor SC Jamir and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the airport. Naidu is scheduled to attend the 13th Annual Convocation of KIIT University on Saturday. Nobel Laureate in Physiology and German virologist Prof Harald zur Hausen, sculptor Raghunath Mohapatra, Chairman Emeritus of Simplex Infrastructure Pvt Ltd Bithal Das Mundhra and Chairman of Bharatia Charitable Trust Kishanlal Agarwal would be conferred with Honoris Causa Degree. A Nobel Laureate has been gracing KIIT University convocation every year which is a unique distinction in itself and reflects its academic excellence.
