BHUBANESWAR: AS part of its governance reforms for ease of doing business, the State Government is all set to launch its new single window portal on Thursday.The portal - GO-SWIFT - will provide information and clearances sought by investors during the entire investment life-cycle of a project in a time-bound and transparent manner.
Principal Secretary in Industries Department Sanjeev Chopra said, the portal will have a common online interface through which approval process for 32 services from 15 State Government departments will be made available for new and existing industries.
“It is a one-stop solution to facilitate and handhold investors. It will provide facilitation support to investors and promote a conducive business environment. With single sign-on user credentials, the portal is first-of-its kind in India,” Chopra said.
The portal has been developed in a way that users can track the real-time status of their applications via the investor dashboard and alerts sent from the portal via email and SMS. It also provides updated information related to latest rules, policy initiatives and business reforms undertaken.
The multi-service interface will be useful for registration, approvals, e-payment, application tracking and downloading approval certificate for all G2B services and has department dashboards to track important details concerning each industrial unit in the State.
A query management system has been integrated, mandating that queries shall be raised only once within seven working days from the date of submission and timelines under Right to Public Service Act have been mapped for each service to guarantee time-bound manner delivery.
